Quartz Conversion & Return Old Parts
A quartz conversion can be an excellent choice for repairing an older wind-up watch. Many parts are no longer and can also be very costly. Many old watches are considerably rusted inside. Perhaps you are simply tired of winding up the watch.
With a quartz conversion your watch will look the same and simply need a new watch battery every two years or so available at most jewelery stores.
With all quartz conversions, all of your original watch parts are returned to you, the watch movement, ect. The watch can be changed back to its original state at anytime. Nothing permanent is done to your watch during the repair.
In my opinion, this is a great choice for repairing older and antique watches.
